Born in San Antonio and having a passion for Texas, Niki
grew up in a family of two brothers and two sisters. Niki credits her strong work ethic and
determination to her father's upbringing where she was taught you do not get anything until you "earn" it.
Niki's father's passion for sports also brought her on the softball field where from the tender age of nine and up, she earned 10 most-valuable-player
and all-star awards.
Niki earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Houston where she graduated cum laude. There Niki studied
information technology and business. Her passion for design and architecture also allowed her to embrace studies in interior design for
two years at the University of Houston.
In 1980, Niki moved to Houston and continued her then-present career as a legal assistant in a trial
law firm until after about 20 years of working for some of the most powerful trial attorneys, she wanted another challenge.
Niki pursued a career that allowed her the opportunity to use what she felt were her strengths. Real estate
is now her passion!
Niki credits her father's disciplined upbringing, 20 years spent in demanding litigation law firms, her love of design and architecture,
and her people skills to the success she has had in real estate. Niki tries to grasp the market and keep up with the current
trends to allow her to educate her clients so that they make sound decisions in perhaps the biggest investment of their
lifetime. The willingness to go to "any length" to accomplish her client's goals is unbreakable.
Having been a resident of a Memorial Village, Niki has vast knowledge of the Memorial area. She also has an affinity for neighborhoods in the Inner
Loop 610. She finds the neighborhoods so diverse and so beautiful, where she has sold - and listed - townhomes, turn-of-the-century
homes, sprawling ranch-style homes, and new construction homes for clients. Niki adds, "It is really about the people," "her clients" that
Niki holds in the highest esteem, so she goes where her clients go.
Niki has received numerous awards for her top-producer status as a real estate agent throughout her career. She
has been recognized by the Houston Chronicle, the Houston
Business Journal, and the Global Registry of
Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. This website, NikiMettrick.com, is
widely recognized nationally and in Houston on the internet where this site is listed
in a multitude of other business web sites as a resource for their customers. Niki adds her greatest
achievement has always been when she hears from a past client asking for her real estate
services again.
When not doing real estate, Niki enjoys the arts, long-road interstate travel, sampling fine wines, and living life to the fullest. . . .
